Providing a safe and secure environment for your children is our top priority. Whether it's the little details like wearing booties over our shoes to prevent germs in our infant rooms or the big ones like our electronic locks and video-monitored classrooms, they all add up to a safe and clean environment to protect and provide for your childs well being. SCA has a set of safety and security procedures and standards that we strictly enforce. Our safety standards include:

 

-Secure Classrooms-

The entrance to SCA is equipped with an electronic lock. All parents receive a PIN number to enter, while all visitors are greeted at the door to sign in and be assisted.

 

-Entry Control System-

Access to all classrooms is monitored and controlled through the security system at the center hallway entrance in the reception area of our preschool and early development center. The installation and usage of this entry system contributes to a greater level of protection and safety for the children under our care.

 

-Arrival and Pick-up Procedures-

Each parent or guardian will be provided with their own personal identification number to access the computerized entry system and check their child into and out of school. A sign in sheet in each classroom signed by the parent or guardian checking their child in and out provides an additional layer of security.

 

-Equipment Safety-

Some of the many equipment precautions we take include child-sized tables that are "non-tippable" and regular monitoring of equipment to ensure it is in good working order.

 

-Visitor Precautions-

Photo identification is required from all unfamiliar visitors. A visitor listed as an authorized person to pick up a child must still show photo identification if the school director and/or associate do not know him/her.

 

-Security Cameras-

Parents may have peace of mind knowing their child is being recorded by our 24/7 surveillance system. Your childs safety is a top priority.

 

-Video Monitoring System-

To increase the level of safety and accountability, we have installed a video monitoring system in the areas where children are throughout the day. Cameras monitor all classrooms and outside play areas. Video monitors are in the main office and enable management continuous observation and monitoring of any classroom or play area.
